Connected Devices Option
Introduction
The Connected Devices option provides a comprehensive view of all hosts connected to the equipment, allowing effective network monitoring and management. When the device transmits data via the TR069 protocol, the system displays all connected end-client hosts, including devices such as Alexa, mobile phones, TVs, desktops and air conditioning, both by Wi-Fi connection and LAN ports.
Path: Devices Menu -> Select equipment -> Connectivity tab -> Connected Devices Option
Value Delivery
- Full visibility of the amount and status of all devices connected to the client network
- Fast identification of connectivity problems
- Immediate actions for maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to block specific hosts on ZTE equipment with customer authorization

| Signal strength | Signal level in dBm |
| Sent/Received data | Traffic volume in MB or GB |
Use Cases
Online Host Identification and Management
- Access the Connected Devices menu
- Identify devices with online status
- Analyze the details of each device
- Check with the client whether the connected devices are legitimate
- Block unauthorized devices, when applicable
- Evaluate possible causes of slowness due to the number of connections
Main Features
- Real-Time Monitoring: Instant display of active network devices
- Device Blocking: Ability to restrict access to specific devices, in compatible models
- Performance Analysis: Assessment of connection quality based on distance and signal strength
Integration with IXC Provider
Information about connected hosts is available in both IXC ACS and IXC Provider, offering flexibility in how the data is accessed.
Path: Login -> ACS -> Devices -> Select and edit -> Connected devices
Deleting Devices
Manual deletion: If a device needs to be deleted manually in ACS, without using the automatic deletion feature (Offline Device Deletion), the removal should be performed directly in ACS. ACS will notify IXC Provider, which will also remove the device record.
Automatic deletion: When a device is deleted through the offline-device routine in ACS, it will only be removed from IXC Provider when the synchronization routine runs according to the defined interval. For example, if this routine runs every two hours, the record will be removed on the next synchronization cycle. For that reason, deleting the device directly in ACS is recommended instead of deleting it in IXC Provider.
Automatic Deletion Flow

A[Offline device in ACS] -->|Offline routine runs| B[Compare against registered IXC]
B -->|Device not found in IXC| C[Remove from ACS]
B -->|Device still found in IXC| D[Keep in ACS]
C -->|Next synchronization| E[Deletion confirmed]
D -->|Next synchronization| A
When the technician retrieves the equipment after a contract cancellation, the router is removed from IXC stock. The device remains in ACS until the next routine execution, when it is deleted automatically.
Final Considerations
The Connected Devices menu is an essential tool for effective customer network management. It allows:
- identify and resolve connectivity issues
- optimize network performance
- ensure security through access control
- provide more accurate and efficient technical support
By using this feature, providers can significantly improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
